For Rhys
Three Ponies
Arthur GuitermanThree little ponies who didn't like their hay
Said to each other "Let's run away!"
Said the first "I will canter!"
Said the second "I will trot!"
Said the third "I will run if it's not too hot!"
And they all started off
With their tails in the air.
But they couldn't jump the fence
So they're all still there.
Except this time they made it - from the farm across the valley all the way to our house.
P.S. They liked our hay just fine.

Dear Oma,
How did he get company? Did the visitor ponies get fed? Did Buster and Prinny talk to them? I'm so curious!
love,
Rhys
Dear Rhys,
Buster and Princess were terribly excited to have company. They pranced around and talked to the visiting horses across the fence. That's how I found out they were there - I could hear them squealing and snorthing. The visitors came from next door and one of the ponies is your friend Bella and the other is Margaret's pony Mickey. And yes, they ate lots of our grass and liked it a lot.
Love,
Oma
RFD, where have you been??? And more importantly, WHAT have you been doing?! Why don't you post about your (ahem) bookish doings??!!!
